CarPro Eraser Oil & Polish Remover

After many years of machine polishing and ceramic coating, we have found ourselves using CarPro Eraser the most. It just seems to strike the right spot in terms of cleaning power, and believe us, we have used some "comparable" products that have been so aggressive, that they've managed to soften the clear coat on application, which then led to marring when wiping down, NOT what you want after hours and hours of machine polishing.

Anyway, back to Eraser, we love it! Easy to use, gentle on the paintwork but tough on oils and greases. Most of the time we use Eraser to inspect paintwork after machine polishing, however, it is equally as good as a prep cleaner before applying ceramic coatings.

CarPro Eraser as mentioned above can be used for two purposes, however it is used in essentially the same way.

Ensure the paintwork is cool and out of direct sunlight. Do not allow Eraser to dry on the paintwork. After machine polishing, if there is a large build-up of polishing dust on the surface, try and remove that carefully before using Eraser.

However, using Eraser is as simple as spraying onto the surface, or directly onto a microfibre towel and wiping the panel down. Eraser should flash off, however, if any residue is remaining, use a second clean towel to wipe it away.

In the case of inspection, once wiped down, inspect with an LED light.

CarPro Eraser vs Gyeon Prep: Both Eraser and Prep achieve the same end result. The look and smell slightly different, not that it matters all too much. It really comes down to price.

CarPro Eraser vs IPA: Again, both achieve the end result, however, Eraser is designed to not only dissolve oils and greases but glide effortlessly with minimal drag, reducing the risk of marring or scratching the paintwork.
