CarPro Darkside is a ready-to-use tyre and rubber sealant that delivers a highly durable, hydrophobic finish with a satin appearance. Darkside features a 60% polydimethylsiloxane formula that allows for quick and easy application. It has excellent hydrophobic properties that promote self-cleaning, as well as UV and chemical resistance, keeping your tyres looking their best for up to 3 months!

Our Take On CarPro Darkside

Darkside is a fantastic dressing leaving behind the perfect level of shine, not too much, not too little, just right. The hydrophobic nature too means it stays that way for a long time. We find most of the time just rinsing the wheels / tyres down is enough to bring them back, looking like you've just applied another coat.

A little bit goes a long way with this product so it really seems to last. We've never had an issue with Darkside slinging either, that said be careful how much you apply and you'll be fine. All in this is one of the best tyre dressings we've used!

How To Use CarPro Darkside

How long is required: 5-10 minutes
What you need additionally: Tyre Dressing Applicator

Ensure the wheels and tyres are clean. Scrub the tyre sidewalls down with a tyre scrubbing brush and a tyre cleaner such as CarPro ReTyre. Apply 2-3 squirts of Darkside onto an applicator and evenly apply to the sidewall.

Avoid water contact and allow the dressing to dry for 1-2 hours.

CarPro Darkside Vs Perl: Darkside is an Si02 based dressing designed for maximum durability and water repellency with a high-shine. Perl is water-based and delivers a more natural look, it is a little bit more versatile too being suitable for engine bays, interiors and more, however it is not as durable.
