CarPro Reset Pure Shampoo

The most common problem we hear with having waxes, sealants, and especially super-hydrophobic coatings on cars, is that people wash and maintain them with products that are full of additives that can mask the water-repellent effects of your protection. Car shampoos can be particularly bad for this as quite often they contain waxes, gloss enhancers, or other components that whilst they leave the paintwork looking great after a wash, fully mask the repellency.

CarPro Reset is pure, so it provides cleaning power and lubricity, but there is nothing in there that could mask the repellency of your protection. I'm sure this also goes without saying, but it is also perfectly fine to use on unprotected vehicles.

How long is required: 15-25 minutes
What you need additionally: Wash Mitt, 2x Buckets, & Drying Towel

We recommend using the two-bucket method for washing your car. Dilute CarPro Reset 1:500 in your "Wash Bucket" (40ml per 20L of water) and mix it up to generate a rich lather. Fill a second bucket with water, this will be used as a "Rinse Bucket".

Dunk your mitt in the wash bucket to get it dosed up with plenty of shampoo solution. Wash small sections and then rinse the mitt out in the rinse bucket, and then dunk back into the wash bucket for a fresh dose of wash solution. Finally, rinse the vehicle thoroughly and dry as usual.

Do not let the shampoo dry on the paintwork. If this is happening rinse sooner before finishing washing the whole vehicle.

Tips: with this particular shampoo, being pure it won't affect the repellency of your protection. With that said we don't recommend using a drying aid or a quick detailer afterwards either as this can have the same masking effect.
