Description

CarPro Cquartz Blackout is a coating for your tyres and rubber that creates an incredibly durable and stunning satin-like appearance. Blackout utilises polysiloxane technology merged with a solvent-based acrylic resin to create a solution more durable than traditional tyre dressings that inhibits deterioration, protects from UV rays, and is super-hydrophobic.

Treated surfaces will clean very easily, repelling water, dirt and grime whilst staying in the best possible condition thanks to Blackouts highly protective properties.

Blackout delivers a nice level of shine, not too much, but enough to know it's done, and repels water impressively, making future cleaning very easy. The UV protection offers peace of mind that rubbers will stay in the best possible condition.

How To Use CarPro Blackout

Work in a well-ventilated area. Use gloves and a mask. Test in an inconspicuous area first. Keep out of reach of children.

  1. Ensure the tyres are fully clean and dry before application. Use a tyre cleaner such as CarPro ReTyre or MultiX.
  2. Shake Blackout well and pour a line onto a tyre dressing applicator.
  3. Work into the tyre sidewall to ensure even coverage. Immediately wipe off any residue that may be on areas other than the tyres.
  4. Allow the coating to dry for at least 1hr at 25c or 2hrs at 15c.
  5. Apply a second coat following steps 2-4 and allow 12hrs to fully cure. Do not wash for at least 3 days.
